Vimeo Downloader
Vimeo downloading is not available right now. Vimeo now delivers video as segmented streams, and Clearlla does not yet support saving those as a single file.
Vimeo downloading is not available right now
Support for Vimeo is in development. Links from Vimeo won't be processed until it's ready.
Clearlla used to save Vimeo videos from the single-file MP4 renditions Vimeo published to its public player. Vimeo has since stopped publishing those files for public videos and serves playback in short streamed segments instead.
Turning those segments into one playable file is work that has not been built yet, so the Vimeo downloader is switched off rather than left to fail. This page will be updated when that changes.

Known limitations
- Vimeo video downloading is not currently available.
- Password-protected, unlisted, and domain-restricted videos would remain unsupported even after Vimeo support returns.
- Public content only. Private, follower-only, and login-walled posts cannot be read.
- Deleted or removed media cannot be recovered, even if the link still exists.
- Age-restricted and region-locked posts may fail if the source blocks anonymous access.
- Downloaded media belongs to its creator. Check platform terms and copyright before reusing it.
