X (Twitter) Downloader

Save images, galleries, videos, and GIFs from publicly accessible X posts. Protected, deleted, and login-required posts are not supported.

Detected:
X (Twitter)

X support is limited to publicly accessible posts. Images, galleries, videos, and some GIF posts can be downloaded when X exposes the media publicly. Clearlla reads the same public data X uses to show embedded posts on other websites, so there is no login, no API key, and nothing to install.

Videos come back as MP4 at the highest quality X publishes for that post. Images come back at their original upload size. X stores GIFs as short MP4 videos, so that is what you get, labelled honestly. Clearlla is not affiliated with X, and X controls what it makes public, so availability can change.

Known limitations

  • Public posts only. Protected accounts and deleted posts can't be read.
  • Some sensitive or login-required media may be unavailable, because X does not expose it publicly.
  • Spaces, profiles, search pages, and lists are not supported. Paste a link to a single post.
  • GIFs are saved as MP4, since that is the only format X provides.
  • X controls this public data and can change it at any time, so support may be interrupted.
  • Public content only. Private, follower-only, and login-walled posts cannot be read.
  • Deleted or removed media cannot be recovered, even if the link still exists.
  • Age-restricted and region-locked posts may fail if the source blocks anonymous access.
  • Downloaded media belongs to its creator. Check platform terms and copyright before reusing it.
