How to Download Multiple Images From a Social Media Post

The short answer

Paste the link to the whole post, not to one image. On platforms where Clearlla supports multi-image posts, it lists every image it finds as a separate download, so you can save each one. This works for TikTok slideshows, Reddit galleries, Bluesky image posts, Mastodon posts, Telegram channel albums, and X posts with several images.

It does not work everywhere. Pinterest returns one pin per link, Discord returns one attachment per link, and some platforms are not supported at all.

Carousels, galleries, and albums

Different platforms use different names for the same idea: one post that holds several images, and sometimes videos. TikTok calls them photo posts or slideshows, Reddit calls them galleries, Telegram calls them albums. Under the hood, the platform stores a list of media items attached to one post.

A downloader that reads that list can return every item. One that only reads the preview image will give you the first one only.

Platform by platform

Why you might receive only one image

• You copied the link to a single image rather than the post.
• The platform only exposes one item publicly, such as a preview.
• The platform route returns one item per link by design, as with Pinterest and Discord.
• Some items in the post were removed or are not public.

Why support varies

Each platform exposes its data differently. Some publish the full media list in public data; others show only the first item without a login. Clearlla returns what is publicly available and does not sign in to reveal more. The platform pages describe exactly what each one returns.

Step by step

• Open the post and copy its share link.
• Paste the link into Clearlla.
• Scroll through the list of items under the preview.
• Download each one you want. Files are numbered so they stay in order.
